This project explores the use of extracellular vesicles for delivering RNA-based therapeutics more effectively. By understanding the mechanisms of RNA transfer and improving loading methods, it aims to enhance the clinical application of RNA therapies for diseases with genetic components.
RNA-based therapeutics, including siRNA, miRNA, mRNA and CRISPR/Cas9 components, have unprecedented therapeutic potential and hold the promise of treating any disease with a genetic component.
