OPENAIR focuses on reducing noise from aircraft operations impacting nearby communities by utilizing advanced technologies and flow control techniques. The project aims to develop and validate new noise reduction solutions for aircraft design, enhancing the performance of both current and future models.
Reducing noise from aircraft operations perceived by airport neighbouring communities is a major challenge facing the aircraft manufacturing industry, social society and the air transport business.
