Blue Farm aims to revolutionize fish farming by developing a patented fish cage capable of withstanding 10-meter high waves in open ocean conditions. This innovative cage, primarily made of concrete, provides a stable environment for fish while optimizing operational costs through economies of scale.
Blue Farm will enable the fish farming industry to move their production from today’s protected inshore ocean space to harsh weather conditions of the open ocean, through piloting and later commercialising a patented fish cage demonstrated to operate in 10M high waves.
