OPTIMA seeks to identify high-yielding perennial grasses suitable for the Mediterranean climate. The project aims to optimize production chains for biomass and bio-products while addressing environmental and socio-economic challenges.
OPTIMA will integrate an ambitious biology system approach for perennial grasses such as switchgrass, miscanthus and giant reed in the Mediterranean environment.
