This project seeks to enhance the performance of recirculating aquaculture systems for salmon smolt production by optimizing waste treatment and water quality management. It focuses on improving the relationship between feed input and water treatment efficiency.
The project target, is to improve the system performance of recirculating aquaculture systems for salmon smolt production by improving the treatability of the fish excrements and improving the treatment devices.
The idea is to have a better tuning/adjustment between the feed as the only main input into a recirc. system and the water treatment as warrantor for the water quality and for the fish and system performance.
