Summary

OPTISOCHEM focuses on converting excess wheat straw into bio-based isobutene derivatives, showcasing the technical and economic viability of this process. The project aims to produce sustainable chemical alternatives for various applications, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting environmental sustainability.

Objective

OPTISOCHEM goal is to demonstrate the performances, reliability as well as environmental and socio-economic sustainability of the entire value chains, for the transformation of excess wheat straw into bio-Isobutene (bio-IBN) derivatives.
