The ORTHOCAT project aims to improve cancer treatment by developing riboflavin-based systems that activate platinum-based anticancer drugs specifically within mitochondria. This approach seeks to enhance the effectiveness of photodynamic therapy while reducing side effects associated with traditional treatments.
