OSTEONET focuses on creating reliable 3D in vitro models of healthy and aged bone tissue to study the effects of aging and drug responses. The project aims to enhance understanding of bone biology and mechanobiology, promoting alternatives to animal testing in research and clinical applications.
OSTEONET aims to (i) build a multidisciplinary research network involving experts of technical and medical disciplines to merge their expertise and exploit possible synergies for the development of reliable and sustainable 3D in vitro cell
