The OWHEEL project focuses on creating innovative automotive wheel corner designs to enhance comfort in automated vehicles. It evaluates various configurations, including passive and active systems, through simulations and experiments to inform future vehicle architecture and improve driving experiences.
The project OWHEEL aims at the development and evaluation of new concepts of automotive wheel corners as crucial elements of future vehicle architecture tailored to provide an optimal comfort during automated driving.
The consortium will benchmark four essentially different classes:
