This project focuses on using watershed modeling techniques to study the impact of climate change on waterborne pathogens and their transport to water sources. It involves collaboration between institutions in Ireland and the USA to develop and apply models for better water quality management and protection protocols.
Dr Rory Coffey graduated with an honours primary degree in Agricultural Science in 2003, he subsequently went on to complete a research masters and PhD in University College Dublin with a focus on Biological Systems Engineering.
He is currently working as a Postdoctoral researcher in Ireland.
