The PALADIN antenna utilizes plasma technology and digital signal processing to enhance satellite navigation. It can track multiple satellites simultaneously and mitigate interference, making it suitable for both aircraft and ground applications.
The PALADIN antenna exploits the electronically reconfigurable features of several plasma discharges along with DSPalgorithms to create narrow beamwidth and multi-lobes radiation pattern.
These features allows the PALADIN antenna tolock and track up to 4 navigation satellites (each lobe for a distinct satellite) to achieve higher signal to noise ratio, and tocreate nulls in the directions of electromagnetic interference including jamming, spoofing and multi-path reflections.
