The PALEONILE project aims to uncover a new fossil record from the Middle Nile River Basin in Sudan, addressing gaps in our understanding of Pleistocene faunal and cultural dispersal. It employs advanced paleontological and geological techniques to explore the evolution of ecosystems and regional variations in Africa.
Over a century of paleontological investigation in Africa has revealed a rich Pleistocene fossil record that includes the evolution of hominins and their material cultures.
