This project explores a novel cancer treatment strategy that intentionally hyperactivates oncogenic signaling while disrupting stress responses in cancer cells. By using specific drugs and advanced technologies, it aims to identify vulnerabilities in these cells to develop effective combination therapies.
Cancer cell homeostasis requires a balance between activated oncogenic pathways driving tumorigenesis and engagement of stress-response programs to counteract the inherent toxicity of such aberrant signaling.
