This research examines the evolution of cooperation in a wild bird species. By manipulating social behaviors, it aims to understand how partner choice influences cooperation and its evolutionary benefits in natural settings.
Cooperation represents an evolutionary puzzle because natural sCooperation poses an evolutionary problem because natural selection is thought to favour cheaters over co-operators.
