PATHOCOM focuses on understanding the interactions between pathogenic microbes and their host's microbiota. By studying these complex relationships, it aims to enhance knowledge of how these interactions influence plant health and disease outcomes.
Infectious disease is often the major selective agent in nature, and we cannot understand how populations evolve without understanding their pathogenic microbes.
