This project aims to improve the management of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma by analyzing the role of non-tumor cells in the tumor microenvironment. It focuses on identifying biomarkers to better predict tumor resectability and optimize patient treatment strategies.
With an overall 3-year survival rate of only ~6% together with an increased incidence pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA), which represents 90% of pancreatic cancer, figures as the solid cancer with the worst prognosis.
