This project aims to establish a Pan-European Data Centre Research and Development Academy to enhance the data centre industry across Europe. It focuses on knowledge transfer, skill development, and the creation of standards to improve energy efficiency and trust in new technologies like cloud computing.
Data centres are the cornerstones which underpin the digital economy, and create the essential environment for both business and employment to flourish.
It is becoming urgent for established data centre states to contribute to R&D, share and develop skills, define standards and promote strategies for network investment.
