This project examines the impact of media bias on voter behavior and political outcomes using game-theoretical and experimental methods. It aims to develop a formal model to assess how news misreporting affects electoral processes and how regulators can effectively intervene.
The well-functioning of modern democracies crucially hinges on the information that voters receive, and mass media are the primary source of policy-relevant information.
