This research examines the relationship between democracy models and economic theories, addressing gaps in understanding how economic discourses shape democratic practices. It aims to analyze the implications of these connections for policy-making and the promotion of democracy.
Democracy promotion has been a key political project in the post-Cold War era and many studies have documented the successes and failures of democratisation.
