This project seeks to develop a human-aligned model to study age-related muscle loss, integrating artificial intelligence to identify potential therapeutics. It aims to enhance understanding of muscle atrophy mechanisms and improve treatment options for related disorders.
Loss of muscle function through advancing age, injury or disease significantly decreases both the quality of life and life expectancy of millions of individuals globally.
