This research investigates the strong interactions between light and organic molecules to create new hybrid states that can modify chemical properties. It aims to develop methods for controlling chemical reactions through these interactions, with applications in various organic systems.
In the strong light-matter interaction regime, a quantum emitter exchanges energy with an electromagnetic resonator in a reversible, coherent manner.
