This project focuses on understanding how plants detect and respond to phosphate, a crucial nutrient. It aims to develop advanced tools for measuring phosphate levels in cells, facilitating research into signaling pathways and improving nutrient efficiency in crops.
Because phosphate is a major component of all cells, a deficiency in this mineral can have a dramatic impact on the physiology of any living organism.
