This project introduces a method for the selective transformation of tertiary amines using a combination of three molecular catalysts. By employing visible light, the process enhances the production of desired amine enantiomers while minimizing waste, making it a sustainable approach for synthetic organic chemistry.
A method is proposed for the deracemisation of tertiary amines via the joint action of three distinct molecular catalysts - an Ir(III) photocatalyst, a chiral Brønsted base and a chiral thiol hydrogen-atom transfer additive.
