This project investigates the fundamental physics of liquid-vapor phase transitions, particularly boiling, through controlled experiments and advanced modeling. It aims to enhance understanding of fluid dynamics and heat transfer at both micro and macro scales, shifting the focus from engineering to physics.
Liquid-vapor phase transitions and boiling are omnipresent in science and technology, but, as far as basic understanding of the hydrodynamics, these phenomena remain ""terra incognita''.
