PICQUE focuses on advancing quantum information technology by integrating photonic circuits for applications in quantum simulation, chemistry, and cryptography. It aims to train a new generation of scientists in quantum physics and engineering to foster innovation in this field.
Quantum information was born from the merging of information science and quantum physics.
Its main objective consists of harnessing the quantum nature of information and learning how to process it by using physical systems operating according quantum mechanics laws.
