This project focuses on identifying small non-coding RNAs in the maritime pine, Pinus pinaster, that are involved in drought stress responses. It aims to enhance understanding of gene regulation under stress conditions, which is crucial for improving plant resilience.
Since small non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) were discovered researchers have been rethinking the “central dogma of molecular biology”.
