This project aims to synthesize halide perovskite nanocrystals using block copolymer nanoreactors to control their properties. It will explore the optical and electrical characteristics of these nanocrystals and develop strategies to mitigate their degradation under environmental stress.
The unprecedented advancement of halide perovskite photovoltaics and light-emission applications has far outpaced the basic scientific research necessary to understand this fascinating yet perplexing material and to optimize material quality and device integration.
