This project aims to enhance vehicle safety by developing advanced Human Body Models that account for human variability, particularly for vulnerable populations like children and the elderly. It focuses on creating tools for positioning and personalizing these models for use in real-world vehicle environments.
In passive safety, human variability is currently difficult to account for using crash test dummies and regulatory procedures.
