PLANwise explores the relationship between migration and urban policies, focusing on the experiences of migrants in cities. It aims to develop a framework for spatial policies that better support temporary and mobile dwelling, particularly in Los Angeles, while informing European policy discussions.
As migration processes evolve and spark global debate, it is urgent to qualify the link between public debate, policy agendas, and research – especially in destination areas. PLANwise addresses the migration-city nexus, reframing the role of spatial policies towards migrants’ temporary and mobile city dwelling.
