This project investigates the role of specific protein complexes in maintaining lipid balance in plants under drought and salt stress. By analyzing these mechanisms, the research aims to enhance crop resilience and productivity in challenging environmental conditions.
Drought and salt stresses constitutes key factors influencing plant growth, development and crop productivity. A key aspect of the drought and salt stress processes is the biosynthesis and delivery mechanisms of the newly synthesized lipid species towards the appropriate subcellular membranes.
