The PM-CELL project aims to develop a rapid testing technology for characterizing cells used in biopharmaceutical production. By creating a unique 96-well micro-titre plate, the project seeks to streamline cell line selection, reducing costs and accelerating the development of effective therapeutics for human diseases.
Biopharmaceuticals have universal importance as effective therapeutics for many human diseases.
Biopharmaceutical production employs living cells as ‘production machinery’ with the selection of the producing cell line, a critical step for an efficient industrial process.
