PODARCIS investigates how climate change affects species migration in mountainous regions, focusing on the wall lizard. It studies the physiological responses to altitude-related oxygen levels to understand adaptation and colonization dynamics in changing environments.
Climate change is driving many species to migrate along the altitudinal gradient of mountainous landscapes.
