The POLiN project examines the political factors influencing the adoption of interoperability standards in European digital health policies. It aims to identify the conditions that facilitate or hinder collaboration among various stakeholders to improve digital health infrastructures across Europe.
The POLiN project’s aim is to explore the political condition of interoperability in European digital health policies. ‘Interoperability’ refers to the ability of computer systems to work together, even if they are created by different business or state organizations.
Interoperability standards are key to the creation of efficient digital health infrastructures, in particular at the European level.
