This project aims to revolutionize computation by developing a technology platform for photonic information processing using exciton-polariton condensates. It focuses on creating energy-efficient logic gates and circuits that could surpass current electronic architectures.
For energy-efficient computation beyond the current CMOS paradigm, tweaking the current nanoelectronics roadmap will be neither enough nor sustainable, but requires to completely rethink transistor devices and circuits.
