The POLYMMUNE project aims to develop a polymeric nanocarrier for targeted drug delivery, specifically for cancer immunotherapy in metastatic melanoma. This innovative approach seeks to enhance treatment efficacy while reducing side effects and costs.
Despite various existing drug delivery methods, the key challenge remains: how to deliver drugs to the desired site of therapeutic action to achieve best treatment outcome, while minimising side effects?
