The POLYSENSE project aims to develop a compact, non-invasive sensor for real-time measurement of density and viscosity in polymer processes. This technology will enhance the use of recycled materials in production, improving product quality and reducing waste during manufacturing.
The polymer industry, including producers, converters and machine manufacturers employ 1.6 million people and generate annual sales worth over €300 billion.
