WOODOO is developing a new bio-based material by modifying wood at the cellular level to create a translucent, stronger, and more durable product. This innovation aims to reduce the carbon footprint in the building industry and position Europe as a leader in sustainable materials.
The project POLYWOOD (Combining wood and polymers to produce a translucent, reinforced and ecological material) is mono-partner, lead by French startup WOODOO, and responds to the call topic “Coordination and support actions, H2020 SME Innovation Associate”. WOODOO has developed a breakthrough patented technology, focusing on wood modification at the cellular and molecular scale.
