The PoPJIM project aims to enhance machine tool performance by introducing a self-configuring mechatronic module that optimizes dynamic behavior during machining. This approach seeks to improve production rates by maintaining process stability without altering parameters.
PoPJIM identifies critical performance limiting problems in machine tool design and use.
