This project aims to develop new organic light-harvesting materials based on porphyrins to enhance the efficiency of solar cells. It focuses on optimizing the molecular structure for better light absorption and aims to fabricate stable solar devices with improved power conversion efficiency.
This program targets the development of novel porphyrin-based organic light-harvesting materials exhibiting satisfactory solubility, physical and electrochemical properties and light conversion efficiency.
Fabrication of stable organic solar device with up to 5 % power conversion efficiency will be pursued.
