This project explores the use of convex relaxations in designing efficient algorithms for solving Constraint Satisfaction Problems. It aims to characterize the limits of these methods and their computational complexity, enhancing our understanding of optimization and decision problems in theoretical computer science.
Convex relaxations, such as linear and semidefinite programming, constitute one of the most powerful techniques for designing efficient algorithms, and have been studied in theoretical computer science, operational research, and appliedmathematics.
