PRACTIS aims to address privacy challenges posed by emerging technologies by assessing their impacts and proposing ethical and legal frameworks. It focuses on understanding changing perceptions of privacy and developing guidelines for technology development that safeguard individual privacy.
The vision that motivates PRACTIS is of a society that is aware of the evolving challenges to privacy posed by emerging technologies and is equipped to respond to them. PRACTIS will assess the potential impacts on privacy from emerging technologies and new scientific knowledge.
