PredictND aims to improve early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases through an ICT-based approach. It focuses on developing cost-effective tools that enhance clinical decision-making and provide timely interventions to delay disease progression.
Dementia is a growing health problem with enormous costs to society: the costs currently equal 1% of the global gross-domestic product and a three-fold increase to 115 million dementia cases is expected by 2050.
