PREPARE aims to enhance Europe's response to potential pandemics by coordinating healthcare networks for rapid detection and investigation of infectious diseases. The project will develop infrastructure for clinical trials and diagnostics to improve preparedness for future health threats.
Far from receding, the threats posed by infections with epidemic potential grow ever greater.
