This project focuses on developing a comprehensive turbulence model that accurately represents the visco-elastic nature of turbulence in various flow conditions. It aims to enhance understanding and modeling of turbulent flows in environmental and engineering contexts.
In simple flows with mild mean deformation rates the turbulence has time to come to equilibrium with mean flow and the Reynolds stresses are determined by the strain rate, in the basis of eddy-viscosity representation.
