PRIME explores the role of insulin signaling in the development of both mental and physical health issues, including diabetes and dementia. The project aims to identify new insulin-related conditions and develop tools for early diagnosis and prevention throughout the lifespan.
PRIME introduces the novel concept of insulin signalling as a key mechanism underlying the multimorbidity of major mental and somatic illnesses.
