This project focuses on developing low-cost photocatalysts using carbon nanodots for converting pollutants into fuel through photocatalysis. It aims to enhance hydrogen production and carbon dioxide reduction by investigating the underlying mechanisms and improving the efficiency of these materials under visible light.
To address the global energy crisis, photocatalysis is one of the most advanced, green, and clean technologies for converting pollutants into fuel.
However, low-cost photocatalysts with essential properties for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) are very rare.
