This project explores the role of GPR37, a receptor linked to Parkinson's disease, in neuroprotection and disease progression. It aims to understand the receptor's interactions and develop potential diagnostic and therapeutic applications based on its mechanisms.
The next breakthrough in the treatment of synucleinopathies, incl Parkinson´s disease (PD), will be aimed at interference of disease progression based on insights into the underlying pathogenic process.
