PROLOGUE aims to improve road safety through a large-scale study of naturalistic observations of road user behavior. By analyzing interactions in real-world settings, the project seeks to develop recommendations for safer transport systems and technologies.
The number of road fatalities in Member States is decreasing too slowly to meet the EU-targets. A new generation of measures is needed, underpinned by a new generation of research methods.
