The PROST project aims to automate prostate biopsy procedures by utilizing robotic technology to enhance accuracy and reduce diagnostic errors. This initiative seeks to validate the technical and clinical feasibility of an autonomous system that can improve patient outcomes and streamline the biopsy process.
The PROST PoC proposal aims at demonstrating the technical, clinical and economical feasibility of autonomous prostate biopsy execution, by applying the technologies developed by the ERC project ARS (Autonomous Robotic Surgery) to a robotic prostate biopsy system.
