This project aims to revolutionize small molecule synthesis by developing an automated platform for creating complex natural product-like structures. It combines innovative methodologies to streamline the synthesis process, enhancing research in chemical biology and medicinal chemistry.
Recent advances in the development of iterative synthetic methodology (“assembly-line synthesis”) have the potential to bring about a paradigm shift in small molecule synthesis, by providing automated protocols similar to those used for oligopeptide and oligonucleotide synthesis.
